As part of their safe service delivery options during the COVID-19 pandemic, Meta Cannabis stores in Ontario, Manitoba and Saskatchewan, as well as NewLeaf Cannabis stores in Alberta, have launched new online ordering options for customers.
In order to protect workers in cannabis stores, provincial regulators have created emergency measures allowing cannabis retailers to provide Click and Collect services to allow consumers to order products online and pick them up curbside or in-store.
The online platform used by Meta and NewLeaf is powered by Dutchie and showcases online menus of cannabis and accessory products for each store, with the ability to choose products for in-store pickup and payment options that coincide with provincial regulations.
Customers in Manitoba and Saskatchewan also have the option of using Meta’s e-shop to order products online for delivery via Pineapple Express or Purolator.

Ontario has been offering curbside pickup of orders since the province announced that option on April 7.
Retailers across Canada hope that they will continue to have these pick-up and delivery options after the COVID-19 crisis has cleared, in order to give consumers the best service possible.
