Free Job Board Available in Ontario

A new job board has launched in Ontario meant to connect retailers, producers, and other organizations with people who want to work for them. The free service was created by CannSell, the cannabis retail education program mandated by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), which is required by anyone intending to sell cannabis in the province.

As many retailers know, finding qualified staff isn’t always easy and the CannSell Job Board hopes to be a resource for the industry.

Andy Deonarine, Director of CannSell, says, “It is a natural fit for CannSell to offer those certified to work in the retail industry with a resource to find jobs with employers, and as a way for retailers and others to find qualified personnel.”

While CannSell is a private program owned by Canadian Cannabis Retailers Co. Ltd., its ‘Standard’ version of the CannSell course is mandated by the AGCO and integrated into provincial regulations.

According to a statement, over 15,000 people in Ontario have completed the Standard program. By bringing all of those qualified folks into one place, CannSell hopes to make it easier for the over 100 new retailers licensed every month to fill out their teams with good people.
