Fire & Flower is improving the online shopping experience for cannabis consumers with their latest e-commerce offering.
On January 27, 2022, Fire & Flower in partnership with Hifyre launched a virtual retail platform that will enable direct-to-consumer sales using drop shipping for leading Canadian licensed producers.
Equipped by delivery and 100+ store retail network, Fire & Flower is focused on delivering a seamless digital consumer experience including in-store fulfillment and delivery. Consumers can shop for their favourite cannabis products in LP-branded online marketplaces. Orders are completed through in-store fulfillment at one of Fire & Flowers retail locations or via delivery where permitted.
Delivery is through Fire & Flower’s recently acquired delivery subsidiary, Pineapple Express Delivery – the country’s largest delivery and logistics company in the cannabis industry. The deal allows Fire & Flower to deliver products in Ontario, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan.
Initial brands available for purchase through the virtual platform include Auxly, Aleafia, Cronos Group, FIGR, and Wagners.
The platform was created in response to consumer demand: “Retail is continuously evolving and we found that a growing segment of our customer base is looking for a seamless digital solution that allows them to connect and shop directly from their favourite brands,” said Trevor Fencott, Chief Executive Officer of Fire & Flower.
Powered by the company’s proprietary data and analytics platform Hifyre, the branded marketplaces will also track consumer’s purchase habits and preferences, right through to purchase and conversion, and open up new digital advertising revenue streams.
Fire & Flower is a multi-banner cannabis retail operator that owns and operates the Fire & Flower, Friendly Stranger, Happy Dayz, and Hotbox brands. Retail stores are located in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, British Columbia, Ontario, and the Yukon.
