NewLeaf Opens 3 Stores in Alberta

National Access Cannabis (NAC) opened stores in Calgary, Edmonton and Airdrie under the NewLeaf Cannabis banner.

The new additions mean NAC will now have 18 NewLeaf Cannabis locations open and operational across the province (with six additional licences approved for stores coming soon to the market). This means it has the largest network of retail cannabis stores in the province. The company has additional licences submitted and is awaiting licensing and regulatory approval in Alberta.

Matt Ryan, VP of marketing for NAC, says their brand is about “turning over a new leaf” regarding the perception and consumption of cannabis.

Outside of Alberta, NAC also has 10 Meta Cannabis Supply Co. stores open and operational in both Manitoba and Saskatchewan (nine in Manitoba, one in Saskatchewan), totalling 28 stores open and 34 approved licenses, nationally.
