In a statement following the meeting, Martin said the results demonstrate shareholder confidence in Aurora’s board and allow the company to remain focused on its “medical-first strategy.”

That strategy centres on strengthening Aurora’s global medical cannabis business, while the company continues to pursue long-term growth across international markets.

Aurora operates medical cannabis businesses in Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Its portfolio includes Aurora, MedReleaf, Pedanios, IndiMed, San Raf and Whistler Medical Marijuana Corporation.

The company also operates GMP-certified manufacturing facilities in Canada and Germany, supporting its international medical cannabis operations.

The AGM results come as Aurora continues to position itself primarily as a global medical cannabis company, with international markets playing an increasingly important role in its business strategy.

The company said its focus remains on expanding its global medical cannabis business and delivering long-term value for shareholders.
