Indigenous cannabis business, Level Up+ is breaking down barriers and paving the way for self-sustaining Indigenous industries to grow with the first-of-its-kind, two-day 420 Festival on Six Nations, Canada’s largest reservation.
Level Up+ is an Indigenous-owned cannabis store on the Six Nations Reserve in Ontario, Canada. It strives to find the highest quality recreational and medicinal cannabis and accessories available to consumers and does this through an extensive network of cultivators across the whole of Turtle Island.
The 420 Festival is focused on bringing community together and giving back. Day one on April 20 includes a community BBQ, meet and greet with legendary Indigenous hip-hop artists, free giveaways, and contests.
Day two on April 21 includes an Indigenous charity concert and fundraising event, featuring a co-headlining performance by Indigenous-leading hip-hop artists Drezus and Dakota Bear. The event will also feature performers Aspects and Prognosis and a special guest DJ set.
Level Up+ continues to push forward and provide a space for Indigenous culture to thrive with the right to cultivate and distribute cannabis on the land. Level Up+ says the 420 Festival is a way to bring everyone together and show appreciation to their supporters, culture, and community. The event is by donation and 100% of the proceeds from the event will be donated to the Six Nations Community Food Bank and Indian Residential School.
