There will be two new Cannabis NB locations added to its existing store network. In fact one has already opened. According to a Cannabis NB press release the first of these new locations will come in the form of a seasonal pop-up store in Saint John. This will be followed by a new corporate outlet in Woodstock, New Brunswick.
The store in Saint John already opened its doors on June 8 and can be found in the Area 506 Container Village. The corporate location in Woodstock, meanwhile, will be at 418 Connell Street and opens its doors on June 13. Cannabis NB is currently the only legal retailer of recreational cannabis for the province.
First New Additions
These new locations represent the first additions to the Cannabis NB network. Cannabis retail is evolving in the eastern province and these additional locations mean more convenience to consumers and better access to safe legal cannabis products for New Brunswick residents. Not only will the expansion increase revenue for the province but it will also help to create jobs in new communities.
“We are excited to be adding these new stores to our network in Woodstock and Saint John,” said Lori Stickles, CEO of Cannabis NB. “Like our other Cannabis NB stores across the province, they will provide the same safe, regulated products and customers will have access to our knowledgeable team members to guide them through their purchases.”
Private Retailers Coming
The Saint John pop-up store will offer convenience to customers in uptown Saint John and has been customized to fit into the container village model for the summer. The smaller corporate outlet in Woodstock will offer all Cannabis NB’s most popular products as well as the latest offering in edibles, dry flower, topicals, seeds and accessories.
These new stores offer short-term convenience for New Brunswickers before Cannabis NB gets ready to launch of a new private retail channel which will see private retailers open stores under their own brands across the province.
